The sea with its inviting sandy beaches can be reached in just under 30 minutes. It is about the same distance to Grosetto with its wonderful old town. The Saturnia hot springs are within 40 minutes reach, and it takes about the same time to drive to Porto San Stefano, the famous fishing port on the peninsula of Monte Argentario. There are three golf courses in the area, two of which are at a distance of less than 30 minutes. By car or by train, it takes 1 hour to reach Siena, 1½ hours to reach Florence or Pisa and only 2 hours to reach Rome. However, there is no need to go far because there are many well-known wineries, picturesque old towns and attractions available in the immediate vicinity.
